Before you start
Use this form to report food businesses in the Dover district for:
- Hygiene of the premises and staff
- Pest infestation
- Food safety including food poisoning and foreign bodies in food.
We will investigate your complaint and take any action necessary to improve standards if and where required.
- you feel the food does not live up to its description
- you have a complaint about the food labelling
- the sale of out of date products
It is possible that examination of the food complaint may result in its destruction, so you may not be able to use it as evidence if you decide to take civil action later.
We do not get involved with compensation claims, you must take this up with the food business.
We will ask
- For your agreement to give evidence in court, if required
- Your name and contact details
- Details of the business and the problem
